The “Alpine Winter Conference on Medicinal and Synthetic Chemistry” exposes attending scientists to cutting edge synthetic and medicinal chemistry as well as latest developments in technologies that foster innovation in drug discovery. In the spirit of Keystone and Gordon conferences as well as the MBCF (Medicinal and Bioorganic Chemistry Foundation) conference in Steamboat Springs, the format of this meeting provides ample opportunity for attendees to informally interact.

James leads Optibrium’s commercial team, overseeing global sales, customer success, and marketing while shaping the company’s product commercialization strategy. He brings extensive experience from senior roles at Cytel, IQVIA, IBM, and LexisNexis, combining technical and business expertise with a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Cardiff.
Matt Segall, PhD
CEO
Matt holds a Master’s in Computation from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge. He led teams developing predictive ADME models and advanced decision-support tools for drug discovery at Camitro (UK), ArQule Inc., and Inpharmatica. In 2006, he took charge of Inpharmatica’s ADME business, overseeing experimental services and the StarDrop software platform. After Inpharmatica’s acquisition, he became Senior Director of BioFocus DPI’s ADMET division and, in 2009, led a management buyout to establish Optibrium.
